Can I submit a soundtrack with my film?
Absolutely. Any information you can give us about your film the better.

Does my film have to be a Premier?
No. Solstice accepts films that have been previously viewed at a maximum of 3       
festivals.

How many films can I submit?
As many as you want. However, each film must have a separate submission form,                   
entry fee and materials requested by Solstice.

Can I broadcast my film over the internet or on television before the festival?
No. If the Solstice organization finds out your film has been broadcast via internet or any form of
television, you film will not be accepted.

Can I submit a film into different categories?
Yes. (You will not have to pay more than one entry fee for 1 film)

Do I have to pick the program I want to submit to?
No. If your film is selected to be screened at Solstice, our Selection Committee  and Festival
Director will determine which program your film qualifies for.
*Make sure all entry fees are included and all submission forms are completed so we have all
necessary info.

Can I submit my film(s) as rough cut(s)?
Absolutely. However, make sure you send a document explaining what elements are missing from
the submission. You also have to be sure that your final cut will be submitted at least 2 months
before the festival.

How should I submit my film for review?
All entries must be submitted in DVD format.

Are there any restrictions regarding my submissions?
NO. Solstice Film Festival celebrates Independent filmmakers and their creativity. If your film was
made with $10 or $10,000 doesn't matter. Send anything you are proud of.

If I submit my info and pay my entry fee online but don't send a DVD, VHS or film submission at all,
do I get a refund on my application fee?
NO. The application fee is non-refundable.
