Thursday Opening Night Film and After Party: Solstice Film Festival is pleased to present Killer Movie as the 2008 Opening Night Film. With the majority of the film shot right here in Minnesota, Killer Movie is based on a reality television shoot that goes terrifyingly awry when its crew becomes stranded in a remote Northern town. A killer is on the loose, stalking cast and crew one by one. With many local talent showcased in the film, this is a must see and your opportunity to preview the film before it hit theaters later this summer. Immediately following the film, head to LoTo for the Opening Night After Party. Enjoy great drink specials, food and live DJ as we celebrate the Solstice. Saturday 2008 Awards Unveiling and Closing Film Presentation: Brother’s At War The Closing Night Film selection for the 2008 Solstice Film Festival brings a point-of- view from the war in Iraq that is not often seen unless by a soldier firsthand. "Brothers at War," a documentary directed and produced by Rademacher, gives a personal look of American soldiers' perspective while at war in Iraq. |
